Material Finish
Our 2 ply RowMAX from Rowmark is a high impact acrylic with laminated foil finish as specified above on the top side, matt finish on the back side. The materials are UV stabalised for indoor and outdoor use! For exact colour swatches you can purchase sample swatch packs. See sample swatches in the materials list.
Protective masking
The top side of the acrylic, with foil layer, is coated in a protective plastic film, for protection during transport and storage. For best results with your acrylic ensure that it is stored lying flat to avoid warpage, remove plastic film before etching.
Cutting / Engraving tips
When cutting our 2 ply materials your air assist should be on and high. When engraving ensure to remove the plastic protective film, then etch with the air assist off completely or extremely low to avoid the smoke dropping on the surface creating a smudged colour effect. The etching power should be low so as only to etch through the top colour surface. For specific speed an power setting refer to your KOENIG laser machine cutting library

Two tone materials can be laser etched or engraved. These materials are used for trophies, labels, warning signs, name plates etc. Our two tone foil materials are interior grade, with up to 5 year UV stability outdoors.
